Email Bidding Terms and Conditions: • A bid placed to us by email constitutes a binding offer to purchase the item at the bid price. These bids cannot be retracted. • Items are sold “As Is, Where Is” with no guarantees or warranties implied or stated. • Items may be inspected in person at the Hawley Auctions sale barn by calling 608-271-6100 to make an appointment. (We are regularly on site Tuesdays from 4:30-6:30 when we buy aluminum cans.) • See the info for a particular auction for the closing time of email bidding. Email bids will be treated as proxy bids during the live auction and will be executed against those of the live audience. • In case of a dispute, the decision is at the auctioneer’s sole discretion. • Hawley Auctions will not be responsible for internet transmission or access failure. • We will inform the winning bidder of the outcome. • Payment and merchandise pick-up are required within five (5) business days of notification. In case of default, we will contact the next highest bidder. • Acceptable payment is by Visa, or MasterCard. We will contact you for payment information. (Return to Email Bidding info)
